A family-run garage you can trust
All Vehicle Services started as a small workshop on Castle Road and grew, customer by customer, into the garage we are today. We are independent — not tied to any manufacturer — so the advice you get is about your car, not a sales target.
Between the five of us there is more than 50 years of experience, covering everything from a straightforward oil and filter service to clutches, cambelts, diagnostics and air conditioning. If your car needs work after its MOT, we can usually do it here rather than sending you somewhere else.
Most of all, we tell you what we find and what it will cost, and we wait for you to say yes. That is the whole business.

How much is an MOT at All Vehicle Services?
A Class 4 MOT is £40 — well below the DVSA maximum of £54.85. If your car fails, the retest is free as long as it comes back within two weeks of the repairs being carried out.
Do you work on all makes and models?
Yes. We are an independent garage working on all makes and models, from everyday hatchbacks to vans and 4x4s. Between the team we have over 50 years of combined experience.
Will servicing at an independent garage affect my manufacturer’s warranty?
No. Under UK block exemption rules you can have your car serviced at any qualified garage without affecting the manufacturer’s warranty, provided the correct parts and schedules are used — which is exactly what we do.
How long does an MOT take, and can I wait?
An MOT usually takes 45 to 60 minutes. You are welcome to wait, or drop the car off and we will call you as soon as it is finished.
Will you carry out repairs without asking me first?
Never. We inspect the car, tell you what we have found, and give you a price. Nothing is done until you have approved it.
